About
The Support and Assistance Network for Dissociative Disorders
RASTD supports people affected by dissociative identity disorder (DID) and plural systems, as well as their loved ones and the professionals around them. In our own way, we try to make information about dissociative disorders accessible, up to date, and free of the judgment that too often comes with it.
Our mission
To create and sustain safe spaces, human and digital, where systems can be recognised in their plurality.
In practice, that means publishing educational resources, connecting the people concerned, and developing suitable digital tools such as Systella and SysSpace.
Our values
Non-judgment
Every system and every journey is welcomed as it is, with no hierarchy between lived experiences.
Self-determination
People who are affected remain the experts of their own experience; we support, we do not decide for them.
Rigour and kindness
Reliable, up-to-date information, always shared gently and at everyone's own pace.
The team
RASTD is run by a volunteer team committed to people affected by dissociative disorders: a president, two vice-presidents and volunteers.
Meet the team →Governance
RASTD is run by a board, currently made up of the President and the two Vice-Presidents (one of whom is also Secretary). Other roles will be filled as the association grows. As in any French loi 1901 association, RASTD's main directions will be discussed and approved collectively by its members, notably at general assemblies.
This page will be updated as the association's governance takes shape (bylaws, internal rules, new board members).
Legal status
RASTD is a French non-profit association (loi 1901) based in Annonay, France (RNA number W073008132). Full legal details are available on our Legal notice page.
